Frankfurt – A hotel just beside the banks of the Moselle River in Germany has left several people trapped after part of the building it was in came to the ground, local authorities told Wednesday.
Complicated Rescue Works
The rescue works have turned out to be too complicated, as the emergency service was unable to enter the building on account of high risk of its further collapses, police described in their statement.

The Moselle region is known for its quaint towns and steep vineyards that attract visitors from around the world every year.

Rescue personnel are working against time to secure the area and find a safe way of reaching the people who have been trapped.
