Hyundai Motor India Limited, as a major player in the field of mobility solutions, marked another step toward a sustainable transportation system by launching its Creta Flex Fuel prototype at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This marks a strategic alignment with the Government of India’s vision for an alternative source of energy, lessening reliance on fossil fuels.
Creta Flex Fuel: Main Characteristics
It will run on E0 to E100 Fuel
The Creta Flex Fuel prototype will run on 100% petrol (E0) to 100% ethanol (E100). This would place the vehicle at the very forefront of the game in carbon emissions reduction, with a renewed push for renewable energy use.
Engine Configuration
There are 1.0-liter turbo petrol engines giving about 118 bhp of power and 172 Nm torque. The entire engine has also been tuned on ethanol fuel not requiring a mixture of petrol, meaning no petrol additives.
No New Design for The Exterior
Since the prototype, it has stuck to the similar exterior design similar to the mass-produced Creta model, guaranteeing a consistent yet innovative car for the purchase of consumers to buy.
Environment-Friendly Effect of Ethanol-Powered Automobiles
Ethanol-based vehicles markedly reduce carbon footprints, towards clearer air and sustainable development.
Economic Advantages
Ethanol, sourced from agricultural sources, promotes rural economy since there is increased demand for crops like sugarcane and maize. This also falls in line with the vision of the Government of India to promote the reduction of oil imports and to achieve energy security.
Performance and Cost-Effectiveness
Ethanol cars would provide reliable power and high torque. Along with government subsidies to ethanol infrastructures, ethanol cars would help people save costs on fuel and eventually on overall ownership.
Hyundai commitment towards Sustainable mobility
The reveal of the prototype Creta Flex Fuel demonstrates Hyundai’s commitment toward enabling India transition into greener alternatives for mobility. Hyundai makes sure to state the same as the company reinforces innovation with environmental consciousness.
The Hyundai Creta Flex Fuel marks a milestone in India’s journey towards sustainable and energy-efficient transportation. It has the ability to function seamlessly on ethanol and petrol, which creates addresses environmental concerns but also offers economic advantages to consumers and farmers. This initiative demonstrates how Hyundai is very proactive about supporting the goals of the Government of India in creating a greener, more self-reliant future.
