Israeli Army Bombs Ninth School Shelter in Gaza
The Israeli army has struck for a ninth time a school shelter in the Gaza Strip. This time it hit one in the south-central part of Gaza City. At least two Palestinians were killed in the attack, who, like hundreds of other internally displaced people, were taking shelter there.
Casualties in Bureij and Nuseirat Refugee Camps
In addition to the attack on the school shelter, at least five people were killed by Israeli shelling of a house in the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. That was followed by another attack at the adjacent Nuseirat refugee camp, killing at least eight more, to further make this conflict violent.
Hezbollah and Hamas Commanders Targeted
The recent Israeli strikes have also killed some important members of the Hezbollah and Hamas. A second Hezbollah commander, as reported by the Lebanese group as well as the Israeli army, has been killed within 24 hours. Israel has also killed a senior commander of a Hamas-allied armed group in Lebanon amidst its continued sharpened confrontations with the groups.
Oxfam Report on Water Supply Crisis in Gaza
Oxfam reports that there has been a severe health crisis in Gaza as a result of the water supply cutoff by Israel by an incredible 94 percent. The shocking cut has worsened the desperate situations for the Gaza residents and is hence giving rise to a humanitarian crisis, which apparently is worsening every day.
Heavy Casualties Amid Ongoing Conflict
The Israel-Gaza conflict has brought immense casualties for both sides. Reports say 38,848 were killed and 89,459 wounded in Gaza from Israeli military actions. On the Israeli side, 1,139 people have been killed due to attacks from Hamas starting on October 7, while dozens of its citizens are still captive in Gaza.
