Amidst the positive news surrounding his visit to the Kumbh Mela, reports emerged stating that Remo D’Souza and other celebrities such as Kapil Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, and Sugandha Mishra had been receiving death threats. This led to an FIR in Mumbai, after which the police started investigating the case.

Lizelle D’Souza Speaks Against the Allegations
Clarification of Threats Allegations: “False Reports and Spam Emails”
As a reply to the reports of death threats, Lizelle D’Souza made her voice known in the open. In a talk with Hindustan Times, she nullified the threat claims as a false report. Lizelle D’Souza said that spam emails reached their company’s email ID, which is the reason the allegations were brought forward.
She comforted the public that no true threat had ever been conveyed to them, and that the police had already been informed. The cyber division is still looking into this affair, with the assumption that the emails were spam that were not present with actual threat types.
Lizelle also said that the media misunderstood what happened, and this further comforted the public due to their supposed threats.
