Veteran Pakistani actor Shagufta Ejaz recently shared a special emotional tribute to her late husband, Yahya Siddiqui, whose demise was reported last week after a long battle with cancer. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Ejaz paid due homage to Siddiqui by enumerating the deep effect he had on her and the children’s life. Accompanying a series of her personal family photos, she said that she would remain eternally grateful for the love and strength he gave during their marriage.
“To my dearest husband and the father of our beloved children,” Ejaz began, “Even though you may be gone, your love, legacy, and memory will forever be etched in my heart and in the hearts of our children. Your presence in our lives was a definite gift, and I’m grateful for the time we had together.”
The veteran actress recalled Siddiqui as the ideal father and husband, because his presence was the reason for joy in their lives. She elaborated on how love, guidance, and such unwavering support carved her into the person she is today. Ejaz expressed thanks to the selflessness and kindness marked in his character, which she had appreciated each day of her life.
Ejaz also said that children
