The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) today released the datesheet of board exams of class 10 officially. The exams will conduct from 17 February to 25 February, 2025, and practical examinations from January 10 to 20, 2025. Detailed schedule is available online on BSEB official websites like biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in and bsebmatric.org.
Release dates of admit cards
Class 10 Admit Card:
The admit card will be downloadable from January 8 to January 15, 2025.
Class 12 Admit Card:
The admit card for class 12 students will start downloading from January 21, 2025, to January 31, 2025.Matric exams for the year 2024 were held from February 14 to February 23 in two shifts: morning (9 am to 12:45 pm) and afternoon sessions. The timing of these exams is going to be the same in the year 2025 also.
Higher Incentives for Best Performers in BSEB Exams.
In a significant policy shift, BSEB has increased the prize money for toppers in both Intermediate and Matriculation exams from 2025. The new prizes are as follows:First Rank: Rs 2 lakh (up from Rs 1 lakh)
Second Rank: Rs 1.5 lakh (up from Rs 75,000
Third Rank: Rs 1 lakh (earlier Rs 50,000)
Matriculation Ranks 4 to 10: Rs 20,000 (up from Rs 10,000)
Ranks 4 and 5 (Intermediate): Rs 30,000 each to Rs 15,000 respectively.All prize winners would additionally be given a laptop and certificate and medal also would be given to reward them.
Enhanced Scholarship Programme for Top Rank Holders
The Bihar School Examination Board Deshratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medha Scholarship has also been upgraded. Starting from 2025, the top 10 rank holders in the Annual Secondary Examination will now receive a monthly scholarship of Rs 2,000 (up from Rs 1,200). This scholarship will continue for two years while students pursue their studies in Classes 11 and 12 at schools recognized by the state or central government.
Technical diploma students will also benefit by receiving Rs 2,000 per month until their program is completed in order to have more opportunities for academic and vocational advancement.
The BSEB’s new updates for the 2025 academic year, wherein increased rewards and scholarships shall motivate the students to perform good in their examinations, also includes datesheet release which the Board has taken significant strides towards the betterment of the educational output in bihar. Students along with parents should be updated and should prepare accordingly.
