Lamborghini has celebrated a historic achievement in 2024 with its best-ever annual sales performance, delivering a total of 10,687 cars to customers. This marks the brand’s most successful year ever in terms of deliveries, solidifying its position in the luxury sports car market. Notably, Lamborghini India also reached a significant milestone, with a 10% increase in sales compared to 2023, delivering 113 cars in total.

Stephan Winkelmann’s Remarks

Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, said: “2024 was a year of continuous growth for Automobili Lamborghini, in line with the positive trend of the last several years: an accomplishment that reflects the increasingly strong bond we have with our customers and the growing interest in our brand shown by new generations.”

He further added, “In a transformation period, we have brought in models that received the stamp of approval, which is a testament to our commitment to always pushing boundaries and expectations while focusing on sustainable development.”

Global Expansion and Regional Growth

It had strong performance in all global regions. EMEA, Europe, Middle East, and Africa led the pack with a 6% increase and 4,227 cars delivered. The Americas followed with a 7% increase, delivering 3,712 units. The APAC region, or Asia-Pacific, saw a more modest 3% rise, with 2,748 cars distributed.

Balanced Growth Across Models

Lamborghini’s model lineup experienced balanced growth. The flagship Revuelto, the first V12 hybrid super sports car (HPEV) produced at Lamborghini’s Sant’Agata Bolognese plant, topped the list. Since its unveiling in March 2023, the Revuelto has attracted worldwide attention and created a lot of interest among customers.

The Huracan played a significant part in Lamborghini’s success too in 2024. There are five Sterrato and EVO Spyder, Tecnica, STO, and the STJ versions with which the sales of the model are still up and running ahead of its stop production. Finally, the current model will now be replaced by another one called Temerario after its presentation unveiled during the USA Monterey Car Week in the last August. The Temerario has been the source of ultimate praise for innovative designs and cutting-edge technologies that have established it as a new icon in the Lamborghini range.

Urus Range: Strengthened with the Urus SE

The Urus, Lamborghini’s luxury SUV, has finally taken its rightful place as one of the mainstays in the brand’s lineup. The release of the Urus SE plug-in hybrid version at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2024 adds to the attraction of the Urus lineup. Replacing the current Urus S and Performante versions, the Urus SE combines unique design, advanced technology, and versatility and is widely acclaimed while reinforcing Lamborghini’s leadership in the super SUV segment.

Reaching Upwards: Sustainable Growth and Innovation

Lamborghini’s record sales for 2024 depicts the excellent equilibrium between supply and demand and the ability of the brand to innovate, yet remain true to its performance and luxury legacy. With the emphasis the company gives to sustainability and innovative technology, the forecast is bright for sustaining the growth pattern in the following years.

2024 is turning out to be a landmark year for Lamborghini, marking their finest sales records and an impressive lineup of models that make it appealing to loyal customers just as much as to new enthusiasts. A commitment to innovation and excellence continues to fuel Lamborghini’s success around the world, with the unveiling of the Urus SE and ushering the Huracan into Temerario.
