Israeli police said at least six people were killed and nine others wounded in a suspected terror attack involving both a shooting and stabbing on Tuesday in Tel Aviv. The attackers, identified as two Palestinians from the West Bank city of Hebron, launched their attack on a light rail train before continuing on foot. Civilians and light rail inspectors, armed with personal pistols, managed to neutralize the attackers.

This occurred moments before another attack when Iran fired salvoes of missiles into Israel, exacerbating tensions throughout the region. Israeli medics were swift in attending to the injured, many of whom had sustained minor to critical injuries, while some victims were unconscious at the time of arrival.
