Former President of the United States, Mr. Donald Trump, has given an account of a recent assassination attempt on him during a campaign speech at the Republican National Convention, saying he was not an easy target because God shielded him.

Trump explained the moments of the attack, how he almost got hit by a bullet because he was fast enough to move out of the way. He said the bullet grazed his ear as he leaned to view a screen and considered it a close call.
