October 2024 Washington, D.C. – Former President Donald Trump said he won’t run for a fourth term if he loses the election on November 5 in an interview with Sharyl Attkisson’s “Full Measure.”
“No, I don’t. I think that will be—that will be it,” the 78-year-old Republican declared in an interview Friday, in which he said, among other things, he wants the campaign to be successful.

Tight Race with Kamala Harris
Trump now faces a tight race as Democratic vice president Kamala Harris, according to polling, trails neck and neck in the must-win battleground states. Although President Trump launched his reelection campaign for the 2020 election right after his inauguration in 2017, he now faces a difficult position that enables Vice President Harris to pick up momentum in national polls.

Controversy and Challenges
Trump, meanwhile continues to insist that his landslide loss in 2020 to Joe Biden came from voter fraud – rampant fraud he has provided no evidence for. He is charged with hundreds of federal and state crimes alleging criminal acts to change the outcome of the 2020 election. He denies all of the charges. Trump has presented the indictments as “politically motivated attacks” on him.

Business Deals During the Campaign
Trump, campaigning, has taken the effort to expand it into a portfolio of activities, including the creation of his medium of communication, the Trump Media, NFTs, and branded products will include sneakers, coins, and cryptocurrencies.

Harris Focuses on Democracy
Harris, on her side, has framed the election as one in which democracy is at stake by focusing on concerns ordinary Americans constantly hear about: the cost to families and housing.

Reflection on the Past Experience
He reminded everybody that if it were easy to maintain continuity, the absence indeed highlighted shortcomings in the people who previously cooperated with him. In preparation for the election, he stated that negotiating cabinet positions should he win is “too early”.

In the next few weeks, campaigns by both candidates will gear up as they present their chances at the polls that themselves entail such a huge moment in the history of American politics.
